    StratusX is solution to enable seamless connectivity for remote workers, remote students and travellers via a Cloud Managed, Private, Pocket-Sized, Cellular Router

  • What does StratusX mean?

  • What countries do StratusX work in?
    Our device is country and cellular provider agnostic. Simply any plan loaded on the cloud can be available to any number of devices of your choosing.
  • How much does it cost?
    Our solutions are customized to each user’s requirements and prices for both product and data plans vary depending on your preferred parameters such as number of devices, bandwidth requirements, failover and business continuity preferences. We suggest contacting us via email, giving us some details about you, and one of our team will be in touch shortly after.
  • Does it have a battery?
    Yes, the device is fitted with a chargeable battery which can be charged via the supplied USB cable. Once fully charged, the device will run for up to 10 hours.
  • Is it difficult to set up?
    Not at all. No installation is required. Just turn it on anywhere and locate the Wi-Fi network from your device.
  • How many devices can connect to one StratusX device?
    Up to five devices can connect concurrently.
  • Why would I need StratusX if I already have a VPN service?
    VPN services are connected to after the user has already connected to the internet, and exposed their computer and the VPN authentication itself, to malware through unprotected home, shared or public routers. Furthermore, VPN usage becomes a company productivity bottleneck as large scale usage creates massive load on the server and company broadband. In short, using VPN cannot replace securing the connectivity.
  • What’s the difference between a StratusX device and regular portable routers?
    StratusX devices offer a 360-degree solution fully controlled and tailored to the enterprise needs. Portable routers can break a standard SIM card into a Wi-Fi enabled connection, while StratusX offers remote cloud management of devices, full parameter control, black/white lists, single touch update over the air of all devices, and more such features that no regular portable router can hope to duplicate.
  • Can’t I just supply my employees with hotspot enabled smartphones?
    While supplying each remote employee with a smartphone loaded with a SIM card might seem like a cost-effective solution, these devices cannot be remotely monitored, managed, updated, supported, or enforced with your company rules. It is a rudimentary solution akin to installing a second internet line.
  • Does StratusX have its own security capabilities?
    StratusX is accompanied by a suite of security capabilities. Each device provides a dedicated private authentication-based login to the company network. Furthermore, the company IT and security departments can update new firewall rules onto the devices over the air, remotely monitor devices for suspicious activity, enforce white/black lists, and much more.
  • How can I manage StratusX devices in my organization?
    Your enterprise IT department receives the keys to a dedicated remote management portal.
  • How many StratusX devices can I manage remotely?
    You can manage any number of devices assigned and dedicated to your organization, be it 50 to 50,000.
  • What are the upload/download speeds of StratusX devices?
    StratusX will automatically find and switch to the best available network to each user and endpoint. That means that you can have access to the fastest available upload and download wherever you are.
  • How much data can I have with StratusX devices?
    You can choose between any data plan available, from 1MB/month to an unlimited plan in 160 countries. We allow for the full range of data usage and offer you to choose any perceivable data plan to fit your company and employees’ needs.
  • What if some of my employees are in low reception areas?
    StratusX can switch between any operator and cellular infrastructure. For example, with StratusX, you can have the majority of your employees using one primary operator, whilst a small group of employees use another in areas where the primary operator is weak or unavailable.
  • How much does it cost?

    One of the main advantages of StratusX is that we can switch between any operator and cellular infrastructure. With StratusX you can have 100 employees using operator/infrastructure A and 5 employees using operator/infrastructure B, in the areas where A is weak/unavailable.
  • In which countries do StratusX devices work?
    Our device is country and cellular provider agnostic. It can work anywhere. Simply any plan loaded on the cloud can be available to any number of devices of your choosing.
  • What if I need support?
    Once you're a StratusX customer, our support team are here to help you through any concerns of questions you have. We're available via email, whatsapp, phone call and can currently provide support in English and Spanish - but our languages will soon grow.

    That's true. Supported by Mard Philanthropy, our "Every Child Online" programme provides hundreds of devices to those in need.
